New Design
Creative Discovery has a brand new design! Maps in Discovery now show in a carousel, better highlighting map cover images and artwork.

Username System
We’ve added usernames into Gimkit! Usernames are required to publish Creative Maps from now on. Visit Settings (https://www.gimkit.com/settings) to claim your username!
Profile Pages
You can click the creator of a map now and view all the maps made by them on their profile page!
Updated Search
Search is tough to get right with Creative Discovery, but we’ve made some tweaks to make it better. Besides search having a new design, you can now view more than 10 results, and filter maps by Relevance, Popularity, and Recently Updated.
Popular & Trending
We’ve updated the Trending section in Discovery to better show actually trending maps! The new Popular section shows the maps being played the most!
Custom Shape Device
There is now a new fill option for the Custom Shape Device. Turn this on, and it will fill your shape with the color you’ve selected, opening lots of new opportunities!
Lifecycle Device
We’ve added two new events to the Lifecycle Device that you can monitor:
- Player’s Health Changes
- Player Hit By Gadget
New Block Pieces
There are two new block pieces that are global, meaning you can use them in any Block in any Device!
- Triggering Player’s Health. This returns the exact health a player has. If Health Type is set to Fragility, this return their Fragility Percentage number
- Triggering Player’s Shield
